Uganda game viewing and Rwanda Gorilla Tracking and sightseeing safari

his is nice itinerary to combine with Northern Tanzania circuits. Where your ground operator will drop you at Mwanza to catch ferry or the border of Tanzania and Uganda at Mutukula and then we pick you from there to continue to lake Mburo national park. Alternatively you can start from kigali and we then we drop you at Mutukula where you will proceed to Bukoba port to catch ferry to Mwanza and start your norhern Tanzania safari circuit with your ground operator.

Day1: Airport Transfer from Entebbe/Kampala - Lake Mburo
Meet on arrival at Entebbe airport by our representative who will drive you to Lake Mburo Dinner and overnight at Mantana Tented Camp or Ronyo Camp.
OR
Our driver guide will meet you at the Mutukula (Border Tanzania and Uganda) or Masaka town and proceed to Lake Mburo National Park.

Day 2: Lake Mburo to Bunyonyi
After early breakfast drive carryou game drive and proceed to to Kabale overnight at Accadia Cottages or Lake Bunyonyi Overland Camp.

Day 3: Lake Bunyonyi - Rwanda- Ruhengeri
Morning take a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi a seeing plenty of bird life and visiting communities as they go their daily activities. Enjoy this Switzerland of Africa scenery. After lunch drive to Kisoro and cross border to Rwanda. Drive to Ruhengeri overnight at Gorilla Nest Hotel or Kinigi Guest House or Muhabura Hotel in Ruhengeri .

Day 4. Gorilla Trekking in Park de Volcanoes
Day for gorilla tracking. You will be driven to park headquarters after briefing start off the adventure with local guides. Tracking gorillas may take 5- 8 hours depending on the movements of these primates. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Can tack 2nd time Or will do Diana Fossey/ Monkeys
Nature walk, visit Diana’s Fossey grave yard OR track golden monkeys seeing other primates mainly monkeys. Afternoon transfer to Kigali and overnight Novotel Hotel or Hotel Chezlando or Hotel Okapi/ Hotel Isimbi

Day 6. Kigali Memorial cites
Visit some Memorial Genocide sites and community activities around. Visit the Kigali Museum and learn the history of Kigali’s and Rwanda’s pre-colonial and colonial period as well as the colonial masters in Rwanda. Visit the city and see first hand the post genocide development and expansion of Kigali.Visit the 1994 Kigali Genocide Memorial site. Afternoon will be at leisure dinner and overnight.(Alternatively we can end with you on this date)

Day 7: Airport Transfer
After breakfast will transfer to Kanombe Airport. End of tour.

Trekking gorilla permits are sold on first come first serve and confirmation is subject to availability at the time of booking. Early booking is strongly advised. Permits sell out quickly due to high gorilla trekking demand.

Safaris can start from from Entebbe Uganda or Kigali and can end at any point of your choice. We will always arrange airport transfers to and from your start and end destinations where applicable or on request..
