UGANDA FLYING SAFARI SCHEDULE 2:
3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day1: Kampala/Kajansi/Entebbet to Mweya
Depart from Sheraton Hotel to Kanjasi Airstrip or Entebbe Airport. Alternatively on arrival will be met at the airport if arriving in time to connect to the departing charter flight. Fly over crater lakes, lot of banana plantations and tea estates before catching a good photographic sight seeing of the rift valley and the park. View the tectonic collapse of the earth that formed the Rift Valley and on clear days the peaks of Rwenzori snow capped mountains (mountains of the moon). The flight takes a maximum of 1.40 minutes
Arrive in time for boat cruise at 3.00pm on Kazinga Channel that connects two lakes of Lake Edward and George. View schools of hippos in the channel, a lot game including elephant, buffalo, antelopes, the Uganda cob etc and plenty of bird life. Over 600 species have been recorded here and is the highest ever recorded in any other park in the world. Evening game drive to the in the Kasenyi track in the mating grounds looking for lion leopard, elephant, antelope, Uganda kobs, hyena, and many more game and bird life. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day2: Chimpazee tracking and natural walk
After breakfast drive to Kyambura gorge in Queen Elizabeth for thrill chimpanzee tracking in the gorge. Other that chimpanzee viewing, catch a glimpse of white and black colobus monkeys, baboon, red tailed and vervet monkeys. OR visit Maramagambo Forest for nature walk, reptiles viewing in the caves. Huge snakes will entertain you as they prey on the bats.
This is nature forest of tropical woodland with tall trees. Visit the bat caves and view the reptiles.
After proceed to the peninsular for late lunch and then take evening game drive to Kasenyi mating grounds look for lion , leopard, and hyena and view other game , elephant, buffalo antelopes and plenty of bird life. Over 600 species have been recorded here and is the highest ever recorded in any other park in the world. Evening will be at Leisure. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Jacana Safari Lodge.
Day3: Game viewing : Return to Kampala/Kanjasi/Entebbe
Early morning take on game drive seeing a lot of game that may include the rare and elusive leopard, lion, elephant buffalos spotted hyena different antelope species-bush buck, topis, sitatunga and seeing the different savannah grassland species of trees and plenty of birds. Return to your place of stay for late breakfast. With packed lunch proceed to the airstrip for your charter flight to Entebbe airport for your scheduled flight. Or to our home landing site Kanjasi to be picked by our vehicle to Kampala.
Accommodation: in Kampala will be arranged at your request in one of good hotels like Serena Hotel, Sheraton Hotel and Grand Imperial Hotel.
