UGANDA FLYING SAFARI SCHEDULE 5:
4 Days Bwindi Gorilla Tracking/Trekking and Ishasha Queen Elizabeth Park

Day1 : Kampala/Kanjasi/Entebbe to Kayonza Bwindi
Morning will be picked from Sheraton or your hotel to our home airstrip in Kanjasi. Alternatively be met on arrival at Entebbe Airport and be flown to Bwindi. Landing will be at Kayonza air strip some 20km away from Bwindi. At times where a big plane is used landing may be in Ishasha in Queen Elizabeth national park where you will be picked and be driven to Bwindi.
Fly over countryside viewing the beautiful terraced hills of Kigezi commonly referred to as Switzerland of Africa with nice scenery, Mafuga forest for viewing the Virunga mountains of Congo and Rwanda. Hover this will depend on the weather of the day and the route to take. On arrival will be at the airstrip will be picked and be driven to Bwindi. Over night at Gorilla Forest Camp- executive and luxury/ Kitandara Camp for mid rate
Day2 : Day for gorilla trekking Bwindi National Park
Day for gorilla tracking and over night. Gorilla tracking takes about 1 hour to 8 or more depending on the movement of these forest giants at that particular day. The terrain is steep and hilly but with dense forest cover. The thrill of coming face to face with the gorillas will erase the potential strenuous of day’s hiking. Spend one hour with gorillas watching their daily activities and playful manner. Return to your place of stay.
Day3: Climbing Lions Ishasha Mweya safari Lodge
After breakfast drive to Ishasha the southern part of Queen Elizabeth , Carry out a game drive looking for tree climbing lions and other game including buffalo, elephant lion and antelope, Uganda kob and baboons along the road.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the most outstanding treasures of Uganda, and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve for Humanity under UNESCO auspices.
The drive will take us up the junction with Kasese road and continue Mweya peninsular.
Arrive in time for 3.pm boat cruise on Kazinga channel. View game alongside the banks of the channel. This is the best way of viewing game and bird watching. Queen Elizabeth has over 500 species of birds and is popularly known as birders haven. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Jacana safari lodge.
Day 4 : Game viewing, Return to Kampala/Kajansi/ Entebbe
This day will take an early morning game drive Before sunrise go for the early morning game drive to catch-up with the early risers and predators returning to their hideouts. You are likely to meet grazing hippos, elephants, lions, spotted hyenas and leopards, bushbuck, water buck and stripped jackal, and of-course the several warthogs.
OR
Rise before the sun and drive to Kyambura Gorge for a thrilling Chimpanzee safari. The gorge is the natural home of chimpanzees. Your guided walk may last three to five hours and in addition to seeing the chimps, the trip may yield sightings of the colobus monkeys, baboons, red tailed and vervet monkeys, and other primates. It is important to note that the chimpanzee safari is subject to availability of permits and good weather because occasional flooding can make the trails impassable.
Return to the peninsular for lunch and proceed to the airstrip for your charter pick up flight to Entebbe airport for your scheduled flight. Or to our home landing site Kanjasi to be picked by our vehicle to Kampala.
Accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe will be arranged at your request in one of good hotels like Serena Hotel, Sheraton Hotel and Grand Imperial Hotel.
