6 Days Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda

Day 1: Kampala -Rhino- Murchison falls National   Park

After   break   fast, on the drive to Murchison falls national park will first proceed to Rhino farm   at   Nakasongo for rhino   viewing   where there   are battle   cries   from   the ever lasting     war   between   the water   and   the   rock s   where   gallons   of   water   squeeze   through   a narrow   passage and then plunges   itself   very many   meters deep into   the hard rocks   creating   this explosion sound   and   ever   present rainbow. Proceed   to Murchison     falls, check   in at lodge for dinner and overnight   stay

Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park

Early morning take game drive looking for wildlife. Murchison Falls is the largest national park in the country and harbors different flora and fauna. Your game drive in the morning with a local guide who will assist you to sight wild game in the northern bank of River Nile where concentrations of game are in common sight of elephants, giraffes, antelopes, lions leopards hyenas and many bird species are a common sight.

After lunch in the afternoon go for a boat cruise on the famous River Nile up to the bottom of falls viewing variety of game that throng along banks of the river. Chances of sighting the shoe bill stork are many though not a guarantee and many more bird species continue up to the bottom of the falls where you will see animals like schools of hippos, crocodiles and many species of birds’ dinner and overnight. at your lodge.

Day 3:Murchison Falls National park – Hoima

Morning after breakfast ,the   day begins with an early   game drive   .There are variety of animals   like   ,   ,buffaloes     bush bucks   and the

rare   leopards .Over   500 bird species   have   been identified here   ,making       it a mecca for birds watchers .They include the black bee eater ,11 different species of king fisher and several falcons, eagles and other raptors .After   proceed   to Hoima   for   over   night   stay and   dinner .

Day 4: Hoima -Queen Elizabeth National Park

After   break fast, proceed to Queen Elizabeth. Queen   Elizabeth   National Park is one of the most out standing treasures of Uganda and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve for Human under UNESCO auspices of   .It   borders on Lake Georga and Lake Edward   as well as kazinga   channel in the western area of the Grat Rift Vally escarpment.

The   park has attractive acacia   dotted   savannah   which is a home for  Buffaloes elephants, antelopes, lions hyena etc which graze these peace acres

.At the lake, there   are hippos and wonderful diversity of birds. Dinner and over stay at your lodge

Day 5 : Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early morning game drive viewing herds of elephants, buffaloes and antelopes and some predators- lion’s leopard’s hyenas etc. Watch different species of birds. Over 500 species have been identified here making it a Mecca for bird –watchers. They include Black-bee eater, 11 different species of Kingfisher, several falcons, eagles and raptors.

Then take an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel where you will see a variety of game mostly marine animals. This waterway joins Lake Edward and Lake George and it is filled with schools of hippos, buffaloes, with elephants at the banks and a wonderful diversity of birds. Because of the different habitats of the lake shores and the broad Savannah, the variety seems endless. Catch a glimpse of water birds diving for fish, the Marabou stork, bee-eater and cheeky bronze-tailed starling as well as the majestic crowned crane. Retire to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kampala.

After breakfast, you will go for Chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge where you will see not only the chimpanzee but also other primates like the colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys plus baboons. There after transfer to Kampala and will be dropped at the air port for your home bound   flight .END OF SAFARI.
