6 Days Safari to Queen Elizabeth ,Bwindi and Lake Mburo National Park :

Watch wildlife in their natural habitats and trek mountain gorillas in the famous Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park while viewing many bird species and plants.

Day   1

Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Your driving will lead you through the Ankole savannah grasslands situated between the towns of Masaka and Mbarara and the main feature is settled farm land with common feature of long horned Ankole cattle. The attractive acacia-dotted Savannah is a home for these amazing cows that you will not likely to get such sight else where in the world. Stop for lunch on the way in Mbarara town. Continue   west words   after lunch   driving past   vast   tea and banana platantions   will be seen as you   drive on, settle   in at your lodge   for   dinner   and   over night.

Day 2

Queen   Elizabeth   National Park

Morning games drive to see more animals that habit this park, that include predators lion. Leopard and other game. Over 500 bird species have been identified here, making it a Mecca for bird-watchers. They include the black bee–eater, 11 different species of kingfisher and several falcons, eagles and other raptors. Queen Elizabeth National is one of the most outstanding treasures of Uganda, and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve for Humanity under UNESCO auspices. It borders on Lake George and Lake Edward as well as Kazinga Channel in the western area of the Great Rift Valley escarpment., the game drive will last for up 4 to 5 Hours

take a 2-hour launch cruise on the Kazinga channel. This waterway joins Lakes Edward and George and it is filled with schools of hippos, buffaloes with elephants at the banks. You are likely to meet grazing hippos, elephants, lions, spotted hyenas and leopards, bushbuck, waterbuck and stripped jackal and of-course the several warthogs. Retire to your lodge for dinner and over night FB

Day 3:

Queen Elizabeth –Bwindi National Park

After breakfast, you will go for Chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge where you will see not only the chimpanzee but also other primates like the colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys plus baboons.

Then take an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel where you will see a variety of game mostly marine animals. This waterway joins Lake Edward and Lake George and it is filled with schools of hippos, buffaloes, with elephants at the banks and a wonderful diversity of birds. Because of the different habitats of the lakeshores and the broad Savannah, the variety seems endless. Catch a glimpse of water birds diving for fish, the Marabou stork, bee-eater and cheeky bronze-tailed starling as well as the majestic crowned crane. After picnic lunch drive to Bwindi for Dinner and overnight stay

Day 4:

Gorilla tracking Bwindi Forest National park

Morning after breakfast with packed lunch, you will be escorted to the starting point for briefing by your guide. You will be allocated guides to track gorillas with, and then will be off to begin your adventure. A briefing from your local guides and then it’s off! The time taken and the terrain varies (1- 8 hours) this depends on the movement of these gentle giants. The thrill of meeting face to face takes away the pain of some times long and arduous trek. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in delightfully playful manner.

You will need to carry long pants like light type, sturdy shoes to help you hiking steep and slippery slopes, long sleeved shirts and blouses to protect your bodies from thorns and itching plants. You may not rule out raining on you and at least a rain coat is needed to protect your bodies and any equipment carried along with like cameras. Also carry insect repellants and sun cream

 

Day 5:

Bwindi _ Mburo   National Park

 

Morning after breakfast will be driven to Mbarara. Will stop at Igongo cultural centre . A very good hotel has been put up here and we encourage people to stay here and move to the park in the morning. At Igongo there is museum and cultural entertainment plus community interaction. Or alternatively can proceed to park and stay overnight there.   variety of wild life   like zebra ,antelope   and in common site   will be Uganda cob   and   viewing     of   acacia   trees. check in at   your lodge   for   overnight   stay and   dinner.

Day 6
Mburo National Park _ Kampala

Morning will carry out an extensive game drive looking for wildlife. Lake Mburo is famous for the humble zebra impala, buffalo and many more. The park is also famous for many birds and birders have found this park very rich in many bird species. With swamp   an breakfast will board the ferry back to Entebbe in the morning arriving at around mid day. Proceed to Kampala. Or drive back to Masaka. Stop at the Equator crossing for memorable photo taking, Mpambire in Mpigi an art and craft center where drum making technology has been passed on from generations
