3 Days Gorilla Tour Rwanda
3 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari Volcanoes National Park .
Day 1
Transfer – Kigali- Ruhengeri- Parc Volcanoes. (Max 2.5 hours)
Today at leisure will depart for Parc de Volcanoes National Park the home of Mountain Gorillas. It is estimated half of the world’s surviving population of mountain gorillas –300 live within these boundaries shared by Uganda, Rwanda and Congo.
The Park offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and not incredibly dense like the Bwindi in Uganda, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. Here are the gorilla families that have been habituated for tourism and each is visited by 8 people per day. Although trekking may be strenuous the viewing of the gorillas in their natural habitat is an experience long to be savored.. Apart from the gorillas, there are a variety of primates to be seen including the blue monkeys, red tailed monkeys, and black & white Columbus monkeys. The great blue turacos are often seen and even for a non bird watcher they are marvelous sight.

Day 2
Gorilla Tracking-
Morning after breakfast with packed lunch, you will be driven to the park offices for briefing. You will be allocated family to track. Your will then be off from the park offices to begin your adventure. A briefing from your local guide and then it’s off! The time taken and the terrain varies (2- 8 hours) this depends on the movement of these gentle giants. The thrill of meeting face to face takes away the pain of some times long and arduous trek. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in delightfully playful manner.
You will need to carry long pants like easy type, sturdy shoes to help you hiking steep and slippery slopes, long sleeved shirts and blouses to protect your bodies from thorns and itching plants. You may not rule out raining on you and at least a rain coat is needed to protect your bodies and any equipment carried along with like cameras. Also carry insect repellants and sun cream
After trekking will be driven back to your facility relax and overnight FB at :

Day 3
Ruhengeri – Kigali – Airport transfer Kigali
Morning after breakfast will be driven back to Kigali . The takes maximum 3 hour . Time allowing can visit Genocide Museum then if your flight is for today will be transferred the airport for your home bound flight . END OF TOUR.
Please Note the safari cost will include:
- Accommodation as agreed – as indicated in the itinerary.
- Gorilla permits 1 permit per person
- Full time safari driver /guide
- Park fees
- Applicable government taxes
- Drinking bottled water while driving on safari
